About Milford Eye Clinic:

MEC is a multi-specialty private practice consisting of 5 consultants, offering cataract, glaucoma, medical and surgical retina, anterior segment, oculoplastics and paediatric ophthalmic services. We work at three locations from the North Shore to the Rodney District, with an operating theatre onsite at the main hub, and minor operating outpatient theatres at each clinic. The practice is surgeon owned. All surgeons at the practice are equal ownership partners and new surgeons would enter on a partnership track, after a three year trial period. Quality of life is a strong value at our practice. A work week is usually 5-6 tenths a week, with most surgeons also providing services to the public sector. The opportunity for more or less sessions is a personal choice.
