The University of Auckland, New Zealand - Ophthalmology Sub-speciality Fellowship in Medical Retina

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Auckland and Greenlane Hospital, Te Whatu Ora have openings for Senior Clinical Research Fellows in the following Sub-specialities.

Glaucoma : August 2025 - July 2026

Paediatric Ophthalmology : August 2025 - July 2026

Cornea and Anterior Segment : February 2026 - January 2027

Medical Retina : August 2025 - July 2026

Uveitis : July 2025 - June 2026 (Possibility of 1 or 2 positions depending upon funding)

Oculoplastics (Supervisor Dr Brian Sloan) : January 2026 - December 2026 (Interviews for this position will be held in early 2025)

Oculoplastics (Supervisor Dr Richard Hart) : November 2025 starts with an option to take either

 - 9 months fellowship from November 2025 to July 2026 OR

- 20 months fellowship from November 2025 to June 2027

This is a 1.0 FTE (40 hours/per week) funded fellowship. Please visit the website Ophthalmology Fellowship for the job description and application guidelines.

The closing date for all fellowships is 12 July 2024, with the exception of the Oculoplastic Fellowship (Dr Brian Sloan) where the closing date is 31 October 2024.
