Derwent Eye Specialists is a well-established ophthalmology practice in Hobart, Tasmania, built since 2019 on a loyal, long-standing referrer base of local optometrists and GPs. We are seeking a Fellow of RANZCO (or comparable qualification) to join us as an associate, with a genuine pathway to equity partnership for the right candidate.
About the Practice
Since opening in 2019, Derwent Eye Specialists has grown into a trusted fixture of Hobart's ophthalmic community. We have built our reputation on:

- Strong, enduring relationships with referring optometrists and general practitioners across greater Hobart and southern Tasmania
- Long-running monthly CPD evenings for local optometrists, which have helped foster a genuinely collegial relationship with our referrer network over the years
- A well-run, modern clinical setup with efficient administrative and clinical support
- A collegial, low-ego practice culture focused on excellent patient care

About You

- FRANZCO or equivalent specialist ophthalmology qualification (or nearing completion)
- AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
