The 37th Singapore-Malaysia Joint Meeting in Ophthalmology will take place from 19-21 January 2024 at the Academia, Singapore.

The special theme chosen for the meeting is ‘Transforming Paradigms in Ophthalmology’. Hear from our panel of renowned experts from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond on the newest trends and latest innovations that will transform the way ophthalmologists, nurses and allied health professionals practice. Besides the usual plenary lectures and subspecialty symposia sessions, other highlights include hands-on imaging workshop, Basic Phacoemulsification and Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) wet lab instruction courses, nursing and allied health programme, plus many more.

The 2nd Global Young Ophthalmologist (YO) Summit will also take place concurrently with the meeting and the programme will feature scientific debates by prominent YO speakers from AAO, SOE, APAO on hot topics within each subspecialty, along with non-scientific discussions on topics such as training in ophthalmology, global ophthalmology and women in ophthalmology as well as dedicated awards and travel grants for YO participants.
