Format will be via ZOOM (ID and password will be circulated closer to the time of the meeting)
Meeting will occur Friday, 10 July 2020 from 9 AM to approximately 5 PM AEST.
There will be four sessions of approximately 90 minutes duration with half an hour break for morning and afternoon tea and one hour break for lunch.
Each participant is expected to present one case or surgical technique for discussion.
Presentations should be limited to 6 to 8 minutes to allow time for discussion.
Initial registration from practising ophthalmologists only will be accepted. The aim is to limit registration to 30 participants. Fellows and registrars will be invited to register if the registrations remain less than 30.
It is requested that all participants mute their microphone during the presentations. Note pushing on the space bar and holding it down unmutes your microphone. Depending on bandwidth there may be a request to turn off videos for all but the presenter and chair.
Questions can be asked directly or via sending a chat request to the chair.
A list of the order of presentations will be circulated prior to the meeting so that people are prepared to share their presentations at the appropriate time. The chair will unshare the previous presenter’s screen during questions so that the next speaker can share screen in preparation.
Breakout rooms will be available during tea breaks and lunchtime if specific participants wish to have discussions.
A registration fee of $40 is requested. A non-refundable deposit was paid for this year’s meeting and has been transferred to next year. It is suggested we have a small reserve in case of difficulty running future meetings.
