Sustainability Charter

Established in October 2020, RANZCO’s first ever Sustainability Charter established the College’s approach to sustainable eye care, helping us fulfil our purpose and achieve our vision and mission.

To provide lifelong education and support for members in their dedication to ophthalmology and eye health.

Excellence and equity in eye care

To lead eye care by setting and improving standards, providing lifelong education, promoting research and innovation and advocating on behalf of patients, their communities and our members.

Scholarship, service, integrity and professionalism

The Sustainability Charter sets Sustainability Principles, outlines how we support sustainable eye care and contribute to the realisation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
