Practice Managers

RANZCO recognises the integral role played by practice managers in assisting Fellows to carry out their work to the highest possible standard.

The RANZCO membership category of Practice Manager is open to all ophthalmic practice managers in Australia and New Zealand, and we encourage all to join as associates of RANZCO. Association entitles you to RANZCO publications and e-news, as well as reduced rates on publications, such as Successful Practice Management. The RANZCO Practice Managers’ Group organises a conference in conjunction with the annual RANZCO Congress. Practice Manager Associates receive a substantial discount on their registration and have the option of submitting papers for inclusion in the conference program. RANZCO’s Practice Managers’ Group also assists RANZCO in providing targeted resources and developing dedicated sessions at the Congress. The group is supported by a RANZCO staff member.

Membership is tied to the individual, rather than the practice, and members are issued a user name and password so they can access locked resources on the RANZCO website. In some cases, a practice may pay for an individual’s membership.

The membership, however, still belongs to the individual practice manager, even if they leave the practice.

Existing members are encouraged to log in to the website to access the full range of available resources and information. If you have forgotten your password, please contact

RANZCO Practice Manager associate members receive:
• subscription to regular RANZCO correspondence;
• subscription to the RANZCO Eye2Eye quarterly magazine;
• concession rates to the Annual Practice Mangers’ Conference;
• the option of joining the Practice Managers’ Group if nominated and elected; and
• access to the members’ area on the RANZCO website – including the NUCLEUS program and the Practice Managers’ Chat Forum.

The latest annual (financial year based) membership fee can be found in the schedule of rates. Applications forms are completed online. Please register for a RANZCO login by completing the registration form.
