News and Publications

RANZCO communicates widely to share information about the College, our members and the wider health sector and to raise public awareness, producing and disseminating a regular flow of communication on a variety of platforms.

For RANZCO Fellows and members, we regularly communicate RANZCO’s activities and achievements in eye health and other information of interest through our publications, social media and direct mail.

The College also implements a comprehensive program of media engagement to raise awareness across the broad community of eye health care and to raise awareness of eye health matters with the public. We target these audiences through traditional print, radio and television media and through social media (see social media links in the webpage footer).

RANZCO produces a diverse array of educational materials for both specialists and allied health professionals as well as the broader public. These are available through the relevant section of the website – Ophthalmologists, Future Ophthalmologists, Patients

With a strong commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, the College develops and implements a comprehensive program to assist developing nations in the Asia-Pacific region with upskilling of their eye health care professionals, and provides support to projects that help reduce vision impairment in the community.
