Last weekend, RANZCO President Prof Nitin Verma and RANZCO CEO, David Andrews attended the recently concluded WA Branch meeting on Friday and Saturday 7-8 May 2021. The two day meeting covered a number of interesting topics and was very clear that the physical proximity of the attendees was of huge mental benefit.
They also went to visit the Lions Outback Vision service in Broome. RANZCO Fellow A/Prof Angus Turner has started on what is hopefully a long and sustained journey to bring eye services to the top of Western Australia. The facility was impressive and could possibly be used as a model for other regional centres.
