AMA4 Position Statement

RANZCO’s Visual Standards Committee has launched a position statement ‘best practice application of AMA4 criteria’ recommending treating ophthalmologists revise the visual impairment loading for misplaced intraocular (IOL) lenses to allow for advances in technology, whilst carefully considering the impact of a double vision diagnosis on driver licence applications and referring to an Occupational Therapist as appropriate
