RANZCO Fellows and eye sector colleagues recognised in the 2023 King’s Birthday Honours

RANZCO congratulates the following Fellows for being recognised in the 2023 King Birthday Honours, announced on 12 June 2023:

  • Prof Justine Smith – FRANZCO, SA
    Member (AM) in the General Division for significant service to ophthalmology, particularly research and education.
  • A/Prof Andrew Chang – FRANZCO, NSW
    Member (AM) in the General Division for significant service to ophthalmology and retinal surgery as a clinician and educator.
  • Dr Brett O’Donnell – FRANZCO, NSW
    Medal (OAM) in the General Division for service to ophthalmology.

We also acknowledge and congratulate eye sector colleagues Dr Sandra Staffieri AO, Scientia Prof Fiona Stapleton AO, Prof Alice Pébay AM, Dr Margaret Crowley AM, Prof Arthur Ho AM and the late Mr Richard Grills AM on being recognised for their work in the ophthalmic and eye health industry.
