RANZCO supports the formalisation of AONANC

RANZCO supports the formalisation of the Australian Ophthalmic Nurses Associations National Council (AONANC)

During RANZCO’s annual Congress in November 2016, Australian Ophthalmic Nursing Associations from across Australia gathered in Melbourne to discuss the formalisation of Australian Ophthalmic Nurses Associations National Council (AONANC) – a national body representing the Australian ophthalmic nursing community as a whole.

RANZCO welcomes the recent announcement of the establishment of AONANC and believes that having a main-point-of-contact in the ophthalmic nursing community will enable greater collaboration and engagement between the profession and the wider eye healthcare community.

RANZCO recognises that this is a milestone event, marking the beginning of a new era of collaboration in the ever changing world of ophthalmology.

RANZCO looks forward to working with AONANC in developing strategies focused on delivering the best care for patients across the country.
