RANZCO rolled out online Work-based Assessments (myWBA) in August this year to better capture the effectiveness of trainee learning and inform trainee progression decisions.
The myWBA platform has replaced the paper-based forms for theatre assessments and Term Supervisor reports. Other written reports will also be phased out soon.
Through myWBA, QEC Chairs and Directors of Training, Term Supervisors and Clinical Tutors can more easily access their own network’s trainee records to quickly identify and address any gaps in their learning.
So far, myWBA take up has exceeded 40% and is well on track for full implementation by the first quarter of 2022.
The platform is ever evolving as we continue to improve and streamline the process for all users.
