Consultant ophthalmologist wanted in Coffs Harbour. The principal has retired from surgery and would like to support the next generation on generous terms.
The practice is well established and over the years has predominantly offered cataract, anterior segment, glaucoma, medical retinal, oculoplastic and general ophthalmic services.
There is a genuine need for another ophthalmologist here. The drainage population is large, the number of surgeons small and the life-style wonderful.
The long serving incumbent is considering retirement and is willing to work toward this rapidly or slowly depending on the wishes of the interested party.
The preferred model is to welcome an associate with a view to eventual ownership.
However the immediate or delayed sale (or “gift”) of the practice would be considered (gift = in return for taking a long term lease of the modern purpose built premises - and this gift would include equipment).
